Victoria Day SpeedFest 2021 Cancelled
The Victoria Day SpeedFest, which was supposed to take place without spectators on May 21 to 23, has now been officially cancelled for the series and competitors who were set to attend.
Earlier this month it was announced that original weekend headliners SRO GT World Challenge would not be able to attend the event. That was followed quickly with news that the Circuit of the America’s would replace CTMP’s spot on the Porsche Carrera Cup North America calendar as well.
The traditional long-weekend event was still set to go ahead with multiple Canadian racing series competing and without the attendance of spectators. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and province-wide shutdown has caused this weekend to be cancelled for the second straight year.
