Our Grand Prix Event Centre or Driver Development Track Event Centre are the most suitable places for hosting both large and small groups.
The Grand Prix Event Centre is 4550 square feet upstairs, and 5500 square feet downstairs. It features a large conference area with in-house audio-visual systems, a stylish bar & lounge area, and a 100 foot long balcony with a fantastic view of the racetrack, Oak Ridges Moraine, and Lake Ontario.
Accommodating up to 150 guests for a plated dinner with dance floor, the space also features WiFi access, ample parking and a dedicated event professional to assist with all your details and requirements.
The Grand Prix Event Centre also has a large board room which is perfect for meetings. The boardroom can be outfitted with a projector, or a Sony flat screen television for all of your audio-visual presentations. Apart from the conference hall and board room, the building’s lower level features two medium spaces that can be customized for almost any use. In the past these spaces have been used as hospitality suites, or for press-conferences and media-style forums.
The Driver Development Event Centre is conveniently located trackside to the Driver Development Track and features 4,000 square feet of interior space across two levels. Both floors boast stylish & contemporary lounges, with the upstairs lounge offering a panoramic view of the Driver Development Track & surroundings. The main floor features a versatile welcome & reception desk, prep kitchen with warming oven, and a spacious walk-out patio.

As we like to say, the possibilities at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) are beyond limits. When it comes to retreats, team building, customer appreciation, company outings there is potential to do almost anything!
Opened in 1961, CTMP’s Grand Prix Circuit is the fastest racetrack in North America. Internationally renowned, some of the greatest names in racing have driven and won here - Mario Andretti, Jackie Stewart, Gilles Villeneuve, to name just a few.
Although regarded as an individual sport, motorsport is an incredible group activity for corporate team building and employee appreciation. Driving a vehicle at high-speeds takes precision, focus, and patience. At CTMP the opportunities range from private track-days, spending a fun-filled day at the karting track, or engaging in the thrilling Ron Fellows Driving Experience - in our opinion the ultimate team-building and employee appreciation exercise.
With over 900 acres of property on the beautiful Oak Ridge Moraine, outdoor events like picnics or barbecues at CTMP are more than suitable! Large hospitality tents and other such amenities are available through our preferred rental company, Gervais Rentals.
Your event can also coincide with one of our five major events throughout our calendar racing season. We have hosted groups on private campsites with personal catering on an exhilarating race weekend!
For multi-day events there is a variety of great accommodations within close vicinity to CTMP, ranging from exclusive group lodging, to cozy BnB’s, and large-chain hotels.
