Experience world-class auto racing while enjoying the great outdoors. Evenings sitting at your campfire gazing up at the stars. You’ll find all that and much more when you camp with us at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

The park’s camping facilities can accommodate everything from tents and pop-up trailers to RV's. With the wide variety of locations available throughout the grounds, there is bound to be one to suit just about every taste – from a trackside spot, to open fields, to well-treed backwoods locations.

To get a feel for the CTMP grounds and camping, first-time visitors may prefer to set up close to one of two areas that have full-service washrooms and showers. One is located in the infield south of the paddock, between Corners 1 and 2, and the other is on the outfield side of the Canadian Tire Bridge, close to Corner 8. Both locations have nearby playgrounds to help keep young children entertained.

Once you spend a weekend exploring the grounds seeing the many locations that are available, you’ll have no trouble finding the best location for future events – one that suits your own needs and style.

Camping rates vary from event to event. General Camping passes are good for tents and pop-up trailers, while RV Camping passes cover motorhomes and hard-bodied trailers.

Camping FAQs

How many vehicles and people are allowed per camping pass?

Posted camping fees are charged per sleeping unit, and allow for one vehicle per site and up to six guests. One guest must be 18 years or older. Each guest also will need to purchase an individual Weekend SuperTicket.

Can sites be reserved in advance?

For most race weekends, camping spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and cannot be reserved in advanced. We do have a limited number of reserved camping spots for the Castrol Victoria Day SpeedFest, SportsCar Grand Prix and the Chevrolet Silverado 250 events.

Can we arrive at the track and select our camping spot or leave our camper in advance of race weekends?

Fans arriving with tents, trailers or RVs in advance of the gates opening to campers will be held in a staging area until the gates are opened and must remain with their trailers at all times. Check with the CTMP office for gate times.

What facilities are available for RV’s?

These are dry camping sites (no electric/water hookups). Guests are permitted to run generators from 8 am to 11 pm. There is a designated grey-water disposal area in the infield.

Are campfires permitted?

Small fires are allowed at your campsite, unless local fire bans are in effect.

Are pets allowed?

Yes. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and you must clean up after them. Please remember that racing is loud at times, and may upset some dogs.

Are there any restrictions on what can be brought into the park?

Guests are free to bring their own food and beverages, including alcohol. However, for the safety of our competitors and other guests, glass containers are not permitted. Unlicensed motorized vehicles such as ATVs, golf carts, and dirt bikes are not permitted, nor are fireworks of any kind.

Is there on-site security?

Yes. Security patrols the grounds regularly, and can be alerted to any issues at the main gate.
