Canadian Tire Motorsport Park’s communications staff is here to support the media with their coverage of the track's facilities and events.

Media Credential Requirements
Media , PR, Photo and Video credentials for Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) major events will be issued only to people on assignment for recognized media outlets or race series, teams and drivers competing during the event weekend.

We do not accept requests from freelancers who are not on assignment. 

Enthusiast websites applying for the first time must provide recent proof that they regularly cover motorsports with original, up-to-date news and features.

Assignment requests for recognized media outlets should be submitted by the managing editor.  Assignment requests for race series, teams, and drivers should include the key team representative's name, role and contact information (cell number and email address) for follow-up vertification.

Photo vests are limited and only available to qualified, experience media members.  All Photo Vest receipents must attend the mandatory photo meeting before the event to receive a photo vest.

CTMP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY ANY APPLICATION

MEDIA CREDENTIAL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED
AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE OPENING DAY OF THE EVENT

IMSA Hard Cards
Photographers and media members holding a IMSA HARD-CARD should contact
[courriel protégé] at least three weeks prior to the Chevrolet Grand Prix (July 10-12) to request a reserved seat in the media centre and a media parking pass.  Seating and parking spaces are limited. 

Shooting Video at CTMP's IMSA Events
Anyone shooting video of an IMSA competition at CTMP should refer to IMSA’s video policies.

NEW THIS YEAR: Photographers/Media at CASC Regional Events 
For CASC Regional Events at CTMP, you will need to be working for a recognized media outlet or one of the race series, teams, or drivers competing at that event. 

You will register through their MotorsportReg platform (which requires creating an account) and register as a WORKER (no CTMP Pre-approval required).  Use the link provided on the registration page, and include this subject line:
Media Request (insert the name and date of event)

Photographers/Media at Track Days
Photographers, videographers and media who wish to attend a track day, should contact the event organizers for permission.  On the event day, you will need to sign in at the CTMP administration office (with proof of permission from the track day organizer) to acquire a photo bib.
