Overview:

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is Canada’s Legendary Home of Motorsports – located just east of Toronto on 900 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of the Durham Region. Since 1961 CTMP has hosted world-class racing events including F1, SportsCar, IndyCar and NASCAR on its historic Grand Prix Circuit, as well as Music Festivals and Film Location Shoots. With an additional 2.9 km road course, new Karting Facility and over 33,000 sq. ft. of unique venue space, CTMP is the perfect place for driving experiences, corporate entertaining and personal celebrations.

The Concession Attendant will be responsible for assisting customers at the Trackside Grill.  Working in this fast-paced environment you must ensure that safe food handling practices are followed at all times while adhering to our quality standards.  This position also assists in elevating the fan experience by ensuring the highest level of customer service.

Previous concession and food service experience preferred

  • Customer Service oriented, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, warm and engaging disposition
  • Possess excellent cash handling skills
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job; frequent pulling/pushing, lifting up to 25-50 lbs and standing for extended periods of time
  • Adhere to uniform policy and grooming standards, must present a neat and professional appearance
  • Able to work all major event weekends, including irregular hours (early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays) with additional shifts during the week/weekends from May through October
  • Must have reliable transportation

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greet and serve customers food and beverages, taking orders, accepting payments (proper cash handling and use of a credit/debit machine) in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain all service areas for general cleanliness and sanitation
  • Restocking and Inventory Control - being able to communicate with a Manager/Supervisor of low volumes
  • Provide customers with information and directions as needed
  • Provide support to other staff as needed
  • Some catering support for events as required

Experience: 1 year of Concession and Food Service Experience preferred
Food Handler Certificate preferred
