About the track
Where are you located?
We are located in Bowmanville just east of Toronto.
We are less than an hour east of the DVP/Hwy 404 & Hwy 401
From Toronto area take the 401 to exit 431 at Bowmanville and go north on Waverly Road, from this interchange it is 15 minutes kilometres to the track. From the 401 there are signs to guide you along the way

How big is the track?
The road course is 3.96 kilometres and the oval is a half-mile.
What kind of events do you have?
We have everything from kart racing to Superbikes to our American Le Mans Series and oval racing. We also have Classic car shows and lapping days.
Can I run my personal car on the track?
Yes, these are done on the lapping days. Contact the office for details & schedule
Can I camp there?
Yes, we promote a family venue at all our events and the area is monitored by on-site security. Camping is on a first-come basis, there are no specific sites. Rates are set by the type of camping needs, tent/motorhome.
Can I bring any type of vehicle?
No, we do not allow dirt bikes and 4 wheelers or any unlicensed motor vehicles.
How year was the track built?
It was built in 1961.
Mosport Speedway
When do they race on the oval?
Every Saturday night from mid-May to until mid-September, unless we are rained out since these cars do not run in the rain.
How many classes do you have at the oval?
There are three classes: Pure Stock (formerly 6 or Less), Sportsman and Late Models.
What does it cost?
Adults $15.00, Youths (13 to 17) $10.00 and children 12 and under get in for free.

Are dogs allowed at Mosport?
Yes, provided they are on a leash.
Are there electrical hook-ups available at Mosport?
No, but generators are permitted, but they must be turned off during quiet hours. There are also showers, washrooms and concession stands on site.
What is the difference between the general camping and the RV Camping?
General Camping consists of tents or pop-up trailers and the fee is charged on a per vehicle entrance, maximum of 6 people. RV Camping consists of one motorhome or hard-bodied trailer. Camping is available on a first come, first serve, there are no specific sties and spots cannot be reserved.
What is family camping?
Family Camping is located inside Entrance #2, it is a quieter area that has showers, washrooms and a playground.
Where is the dump station located?
The dump station is located inside Entrance #2
Can you bring in your own food/alcohol on the premises?
Yes, you can bring your own food and alcohol, but the alcohol must be in cans.
Bottled alcohol is prohibited.
Is there an ATM at Mosport?
Not at all events, so please contact us prior to your attendance.
Does the ticket price include HST?
Yes.
Can I bring an all-terrain vehicles or dirt bikes to Mosport?
No, we do not allow any off-road vehicles on the premises.

Q & A- General
Does Mosport charge extra for paddock access?
No. Your paid admission includes access to the paddock area, where you’ll be able to get up close to the teams, transporters and the powerful race cars and motorcycles you’ll see on the track. Also, your ticket gets you access to all the other special areas at the track on a race weekend, like the Mosport Motorsport Expo, fireworks displays, live music, driver/rider autograph sessions and more!
How much does it cost to bring my kids to a race?
If your children are 12 and under they are free with a paid adult admission.
Does my Weekend SuperTicket get me into any of Mosport’s other facilities?
Yes. Every Weekend SuperTicket for the road course includes access to Saturday Night Stock Car Racing over at Mosport Speedway. It’s a great way to cap off a thrilling day of racing.
If I buy a single day ticket why do I have to also purchase tickets for the other days on a race weekend?
Mosport has this policy to ensure that each person pays for all the days that they are present for. If you do not wish to stay for the entire weekend’s events, you will be refunded in full for all unused days at the gate provided you do so within an hour of the final race of the day you leave.
Is there a restaurant at Mosport?
Yes. Mosport has a main restaurant located in the paddock, where everything from snacks to full meals are served. There are also concession stands located at the top of Turn #3 and the Start/Finish straight. Beer is also sold on the premises to those of legal drinking age in Ontario (19).
